 Biography

 

Elsa Rogers, MSNc, co-founder of the P.E.L.S.A Corporation, .  Says this has been a long awaited opportunity and she is more than excited to be a part of this endeavor in order to provide the needed affordable housing for those transitioning back into the community. 

 

Elsa has worked in various community-based organizations throughout Los Angeles servicing high-risk populations.  She brings her culturally diverse sensitivity to this organization, as she has worked in the community for the past 13 years.  Her experiences include mental health, alcohol and drug rehabilitation as well as research.  She has a well-established and collaborative relationship with many community organizations.  She is now a Licensed Registered Nurse pursuing a Masters Degree at California State Dominguez Hills, while currently working at UCLA as a research associate for HIV study.
