Biography
In 1990, Peter C. Rogers, D.D., Ph.D Co-Founder of The P.E.L.S.A Corporation, entered into a long-term treatment facility to address his addiction with alcohol and drugs.
Upon being discharged from this facility, he quickly discovered that he had no source of after-care and no means to provide a place where he could continue in his efforts to stay clean. It was then that he determined that there was a definite lack of support for people like him self in need of housing, support groups, clothing and food to help lessen the burden. Several years later after having lived in down-trodden, dilapidated, and un-supportive transitional living facilities, he along with his wife and Co-Founder Elsa Rogers, decided to seek funding in order to provide better living facilities that cater to the needs of individuals that are struggling to stay clean and become self-supporting. Through hard work and dedication, Peter was able to obtain a license in real estate where he quickly saw the opportunity to parlay his knowledge of the housing market into a viable solution to his endeavors. It is for this purpose that Peter dedicates his time and energy to a cause well deserving of public interest and support.
