Clean, Safe, Drug Free Living Space
We offer treatment services and short and long term bed space to:
• Individuals who have completed residential/outpatient treatment for substance/alcohol abuse
• Parolees transitioning from custody or who are court ordered to attend outpatient or live in sober living environments
• H.I.V infected individuals seeking sober living environments.
Requirements are that they be actively seeking work, gainfully employed or, be enrolled in an accredited trade school or program with means to support themselves and pay monthly rents.
Clothing Programs
Through the support of various outreach programs, government subsidies and donations, we will offer residents clothing and/or vouchers as needed, to students or those seeking employment. Upon becoming employed, individuals will be offered help with work related attire.
Food Vouchers
Through various outreach programs and government subsidies, we will provide food vouchers to mothers with children and other individuals in need of support.
Toiletry Items
Each facility will be equipped with necessities to help foster good hygiene among residents.
Recreational Incentives
We currently have a database of 100 prospective organizations we are requesting donations from on an ongoing basis in hopes of receiving tickets to various recreational experiences to include Museums, Science Centers, Amusement Parks and Theatres, which we will use as incentives for our residents. We hope to provide them with a wide array of experiences that they would otherwise not have the privilege or the means to afford.
On-Site Support Groups
We will host On-Site Support Groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous to help establish long term abstinence and promote strong and lasting ties with others that are recovering.
Affordable Rents
With the high cost of housing, it can become economically challenging for those recovering and transitioning into society to acclimate themselves back into main stream society. In addition, those affected with HIV may have a difficult time finding quality housing. We will provide beds on a short term or long term basis for rents that are well below standard housing cost in order to provide residents with a means to become self supporting.
Structured Living
Our facilities will be managed and over seen by live-in managers making sure that the rules, curfews and guidelines of each house are maintained and adhered to. Each resident will take part in the maintenance and up keep of not only their personal living area, but also the common living areas.
